Since 2004, LEGS has been searching for a low-cost, highly effective sustainable solution for an above-knee prosthetic limb in developing countries. What began as a senior-project at LeTourneau University has evolved over five years of R & D into a program with the potential for a global impact for amputees. The LEGS team has finalized the design on the M1 Knee, successfully implemented its technology in four different countries and a dozen different clinics, and is continuing to grow with new projects and potential partnerships. As we move forward together, LEGS would like to thank you for your support of our work, and we would like to point to a bible verse to emphasizing the importance of helping the underprivileged: “Give, and it will be given to you.
