LEGS Scholarships

In 2009, LEGS created a scholarship program for students interested in the program called "LEGS Scholars." This scholarship is available to LeTourneau University students interested in Global Serive Learning. It is available for a maximum of eight semesters, and open to students of all disciplines.

Like every other aspect of the LEGS program, A LEGS Scholar is held to the highest of expectations. Besides maintaining a minimum GPA, students must commit a certain number of hours each week to the program, and must meet the expectations of the LEGS faculty member who will act as his/her advisor. The faculty advisor is determined by the Scholar’s job description.

This scholarship allows a student a chance to be involved in the LEGS program for all four years of college, regardless of discipline. He/she must be dedicated to service work, and the goals and values of the LEGS program. Any studen selected as a LEGS Scholar is presented a truly unique oppurtunity for globabl travel, real-life work experience, and service.
