Visual Literacy
Visual Literacy is a new and exciting branch of the LEGS program that provides global service learning opportunities to students of all different concentrations. Visual Literacy is the ability to interpret, negotiate, and make meaning from information presented in the form of an image. Little research has been conducted to see how people of different cultures interpret images and communicate via images. The LEGS Visual Literacy team has made great strides in their study of cross-cultural communication, gathering a plethora of information that will be studied, analyzed, and guide future research.
